Klara from Brno Center PDF Print E-mail

My name is Klara. I work as a Team Lead in the Insurance area in Infosys BPO in the Czech Republic.
I have been working with Infosys Brno since 2004. I joined as CSR for the German team and after induction training I started processing for one of the clients in the Sales&Fulfillment area. For this client I was also asked to participate on creation of detailed process documentation. After 4 months our client decided to transfer additional process to Brno and I became a member of the transition team. (Transition team is a team that cares about precise and effective transfer of a process form the client office to Infosys office.) My responsibilities included planning, process documentation, recruitment and process training for new colleagues. When the new process went live, I was appointed as a coordinator for the same and stayed in the role for about a year. In the meantime I also went through an extensive quality training in India after which I got involved in several quality initiatives on the engagement level, for example preparation for the ISO audit.

When another new client started the transition of processes to Brno and Bangalore more than 3 years ago, I was given the opportunity to use my experience. I was involved in process documentation and overall set up of the new engagement. The client is a multinational insurance company and as I didn’t have knowledge about the insurance field at that time, it was a challenging opportunity. I have learned a lot. In the insurance engagement I have been managing different teams, currently I work as Team Lead for the Spanish team and I am also responsible for engagement reporting and other activities supporting and assisting the Operation Manager.

I joined Infosys as a fresh graduate with very little work experience and therefore most of the tasks I have been assigned, I did for the first time in my life. I had to learn a lot in a very short time and it was a great challenge for me. Such experience definitely helped me to improve my professional skills, I have gained confidence in communication internal and external, solving difficult situations and I am always ready to take new challenge when making our daily work better.

Infosys has enriched me in the personal area as well, especially due to the fact that I have met many people from different countries and nationalities and it is always a valuable opportunity to learn things from the others. Some of the best friends I have today I met in Infosys. The working atmosphere here is pleasant and even when I am one of the very first employees of the Brno centre I must say that working here is still rewarding for me.
